I have been slow in posting but with the winter cold I have not made much progress anyway. Aftersome searching for fenders I chose to go with Italian made reproduction fenders for 3 corners. I ordered them from OE Veedub in Colorado. This is a very freindly company and they are easy to deal with. From the info I could gather the italina ones are the best repop fenders available right now. They are made from a much thinner metal than the German ones thats for sure! They did not fit perfect, but with a little trimming and some hammer, dolly work here and there I was able to get them to line up with the front and rear aprons. It is warming up around here so I hope to get a coat of high build primer sprayed sometime this week and start the block sanding.
I guess I should say the reason it is a 62′ish car. It started out as a 62 but I flipped it at Greatlakes Dragaway a few years ago. The replacement body is a 63, but will be built more like a 61, small tail lights. That is the short answer anyway.
Still have not picked a color, that is a tough one for me.
