I got a phone call from Gene Ulrich today. He has been mainly responsible for the ressurection of this event.  The flyer is available on Maple Grove's website.  I'll try and link it below.  Congrats to our MADRA points members Austin Johnson, Jimmy Boone and Woody Page for making the cover of the flyer!!!

People need to put the past behind them with these races.  I hear people say all the time "I will never go to Maple Grove again."  Or "I will never go to Old Dominion again".  Or whatever track ticked them off.  Just suck it up and go, support these events, or we will lose them.  I have seen a slight upswing is attendance these past few years, let's keep it up.  Thanks to Gene for all of his efforts, I appreciate it.

Maple Grove is lucky to have a guy like Gene running this event for them.  He's a stand up guy and does what he says he will.  This event is worth it to attend.  He also convinced the track to lower the entry fee from $18 to $15. I know it does'nt sound like much but it adds up all the way around!

Exactly.  Instead of people tapping on thier keyboards that in 1997 one worker at such-and-such track was mean to me, do something about it.  Good news about the entry fee, that was one of the gripes I heard.
