NHRA Sport Compact has a new version of their web site and it looks really good. One of their new features is "wall paper". Well I am glad to say they made a CW bug one of their wallpapers!! Our very own  1969DragBug from the forum wheels up and going left!  This was from a qualifing pass where the car justr went straight up and then hard  left!! You can see the one tire unloaded a little bit, front wheels turned and here she comes.  Nice picture though of the Adam Wik nose,...haha

O and the three guys on the left behind the car are:
Gray sweatshirt- drivers son (my brother)
Blue fire jacket- Tom Borgia driver of Little Tiger all-motor bug who helped fix the suspension after this pass
Bald spanish guy - Drives a 8.50 rotary powered, stretch MG Midget

Yea..Henry is a nice guy. Good racer and he used to have a nice 60's street bug with a big motor  but he got rid of it.
We need Jersey Joe at a race with us!

That's cool!  I got my NHRA number last week.  Working on the catch pan now! Richmond will be here before you know it.

I read the rules and there is no mention of aircooled bodies for illedgeable bodies. I sent a email to them asking why.

Tomorrow night. I just found out that I had 2 bad plug wires in Georgia. It was firing intermitently on 2 and 4. I made a new set of plug wires and it sounds good.

Anthony, You and Roger are great people to deal with !! Thanks for everything. It made 308.8 RWHP with a small hit .22 jet and 10.2 A/F. I am going back to the Dyno before Unlimited Street in VA. It will make over 400 RWHP. No problem.

I looke at last years photos and did'nt look like any AC VW's were there. Bill Danner expressed a little interest in going.  I'll see if I can't coax him out of PA.

I will if I can get my car straight.  Sorry to hear you won't be coming but I'm sure we'll meet up in Jersey somewhere this season.
