Just checking to see if anyone is working on their cars.
I have been working on taking some weight off my 2020 lb pig.
Replaced cast iron 6.4lb calipers with 1.2 lb Wilwood calipers.
Took about 2 lbs out of each rotor which weighed 20lbs each
I had to cut rotors down from 11 inch to 10 inch.
Made all Lexan windows. Saved 40 lbs
Removed the junk that gave me the 3 inch trans raise. Back to stock.
Also working on a clutch management.
New diff that I broke at the Farm last year

Going back to twin turbo and a Mustang throttle body.
Had to get a new crank so went to 82mm from 78. (2276)

I put the cover on mine when I pushed it in the garage after farmington, and haven't touched it. Just kinda frustrated, but I'm getting my spring house work done so I can work on it. It will be ready soon.

Looking to join the fray sometime this spring; I'll certainly be out for the VW Drag Night (no excuse otherwise).

Still daily driving it. Hope to find time in a couple of weeks to swap in a stage-and-a-half oil pump to scavenge the heads and turbo. (still need to finish modifying the oil pump and machining new crank-trigger/pulley...also waiting on Scott to finish his new garage  Cheesy )

With 2 months to go to Drag Night, it sure seems quiet.  No updates to the Drag Night site, no updates to the Unlimited Street site.  Anyone out there?  I just need to wire the 2 step to the staging brake and to get the motor installed when it arrives.  That and put my repaired semaphore back in.  Otherwise ready

Kevin, if that picture is recent, you got a lot to do!  I'm debating rewaxing mine and detailing the interior.  I forgot, I have the rear seat delete I made to cover the exposed pan.  Got an aluminum access panel, that I polished.  Just need warmer weather to lay the carpet.

I'll be over with the sawzall next weekend to make sure we put that new rear seat delete to good use.

Got it running, but not with the new intake.
Trying to run it this weekend at Piedmont.
Yes it has PVC piping for the intake for now, it is easy to assemble

More skills than I will ever have.  Cool to have stuff "outside the box".  Now I'm not bashing but that thing is along the lines of the famous "$hit box"  I love the angle strap to hold the fenders.  Can't wait to see it run at the track.  Good luck at Piedmont.
