Fist of all I want to thank all the racers and sponsors. Without you guys we would have nothing. This was our largest field EVER. 16 cars cruised and qualified to race. We had two cars break first round of qualifying but they are part of our core racers and the will be back for the next race. We had several new faces in the mix and they were very appreciated!! One of the new guys Bill Wallace beat our NA record with a 7.705 but one of our regulars Anthony Consorte aka Chicken Wing Was right on his heels with a 7.718. Look for this to fall again at our next race. Sadly we had no Nitrous cars at this race. It was my best race ever I qualified number one with a 6.37 @109. I had to fight off the other quickest cars in the class and finally won my first race with a 6.16 at 114mph against Gene Cook in the final.

I would also like to mention that one of our newer drivers, Justin Flowers, ran a 7.21!!! That is excellent out of his Coral oval. Look for him to bring that on down. Looking forward to our next race at Farmington Oct. 24th.

NICE!  Belated Congratulations, Troy!!!  Just catching up here and there as I can while on these LONG BORING TELECONFERENCES I'm doing for training.  These cars are hauling the mail!  Like I told you a few years back in Vegas when I made that Unlimited Street video, this class and Pro Mod are my favorite!

I'm hoping to just get out in the garage and get dirty! Sad  My kid and her softball have me out 3 nights a week and every weekend.  I try to sneak out to the garage and do something on the convertible, but it's usually organizing all the crap my wife pushed out there to get it out of the house. Roll Eyes

Oh well... Smiley Life goes on...  Junior is 8 months old now (he's been in GREAT health the last 2 months!), and God help me when he starts playing sports! Tongue

I should be... Unless my kid makes this "A" ball travel team. Then there is the chance we could be out of town for a tournament trip.  But the poor kid hurt her arm this past week and hasn't been able to throw at full force.  It might kill her chances of getting on an "A" team.  To be honest, I'd be thrilled if she'd only play rec ball again this fall.  Lots of change with her going to middle school, the baby and then softball every other free moment... then there's the new job etc, etc. Roll Eyes  But this is all good stuff compared to the first half of the year! Cheesy

Regardless, I miss hanging with my VW buddies. Heck yeah, I'll buy ya a beer!  Hit me up when you get here!

Scott, check your E-Mail!

The Coach just scheduled a tournament that weekend! Ugh!  The good news is that the tournament is in Vegas.  I guess I'll be doing split duty that weekend.  Sad
