The Bug Shop is the title sponsor of this race, and will contribute a $150 cash bonus ($100 winnner/$50 runner up).This will be awarded in addition to the normal track payout. This track is being very generous with 100% payback in both classes.
NOTE: Everyone is eligible to win the sponsor bonuses and trophy at this race due to being an "out of town" race (TVWDRA member or otherwise).
Two classes will be available:
VW Pro 6.90 index, heads up, .400 protree, vehicle must be VW powered. No buybacks for this class.
VW "no box"Sportsman bracket class, all run. 2 steps and clutch releases ok, if box is in the car, the delay function MUST be set to .000 . Vehicle must be VW powered. $15.00 buyback in first round only.
I have talked to the track about spreading the two classes out for racers wanting to run both classes. I will be running both.
Everybody come on out to Ardmore and let's have some fun in Oklahoma. This is a very cool track. 1/8 mile. Very well prepped track surface. Last year, the heat was not bad and the air was dry.
