Hey all, just a reminder about the Pittsburg races this weekend.
Saturday is Race #4 of the NCVWDRA's Bracket Eliminator points race. All are welcome, one class all run Bracket. We are running along side a noststagic V8 race program.
Sunday is the Pittsburg Classic sponsored by K&L Motorsports.
You can race VW classes both days...
AND, if you blow up your motor, I'm bringing my spare race engine along to keep all the racers I can running both days.
I just got it final tested on the stand a few hours ago (hasn't run in 4yrs). Took a while to get the cobbwebs out, but she's good to go now.
Borrow this motor if you dare...
It's an oldschool screamer.
Dont get it under 5,500rpm or she will bogg. Don't shift before 8,200rpm. Rev limit 8,500rpm. If you think your car can run it.. Have at it....
