Richmond Drag way! They have a huge grass area on one side the track with grandstands for show and the other side is set for pits for drag racers. I think you can get this place for not alot of money,  They run 1/8 and 1/4 mile there, IHRA I do belive been while sences I been there. Just my 2 cents.

The Dirty Mo' - Make sure you bring something to clean your car. It'll become a nasty dusty dirty mess.

Coastal Plains Dragway

Have a cruise-in at the USS North Carolina Saturday evening. Wouldn't it be awesome to have your VW photographed in front of it?

What no farmington show. If theres no show at the farm, I think the sevwa will be shooting there self in the foot. All of the other shows that have been in NC, well lets just say no car turn outs. The farm has always been the biggest. If I were the sevwa I would try and work out a deal. Gate fee or not. Thats the show that every one comes to. If theres no show at the farm. Well lets just say that I have heard that is one guy that might try and  put on a night race like the one in SC. He is all ready looing in to it. No details yet. Just my opinion but who am I. Just my 2 cents.

Except you slacker. I think you've been once in the last 2-3 years? Maybe if more people would come out and support they could afford to continue these events...... bring you and your brother more and lets go racing. Put the beer down and grab your helmet instead Smiley

Keith/Kathy I have raced at a lot of tracks here in GA like Twiggs dragstrip in Macon, Brainerd in north GA, Steele Al, Calhoun Ga. Twiggs has recently been redone and is suppose to be a good sticky track.
Brainerd is in Ringold Ga and wouldn't be too far for the NC guys and Calhoun wouldn't be bad either. It may be a cheaper track to get. Just my opinion.
Keeping things in northern GA wouldn't be as bad of a drive for the FL racers as it would going to NC or VA and wouldn't be as bad of a drive as Silverdollar for the NC and VA racers. I guess I am being like everyone else wanting things closer to home. Usually Silverdollar is the only race I make because of gas prices and I work monday thru Fri so if I race until 4 or 5pm on sunday and have an 8hour drive its killer trying to get up the next day to go to work.
