So who all is planning to attend the Oct 23rd event at Farmington Dragway?
This event has the Largest Payout on the East coast with the following going to the Bracket classes........
Jaycee Enterprises Super Pro (0-7.49)
Winner $1500 R/UP $450 Semi $100 Entry: $35 - $25 Buy Back
Fisher Buggies Pro (7.50-9.49)
Winner $1000 R/UP $300 Semi $50 Entry $25 - $15 Buy Back
Autometer Sportsman (9.50 & up)
Winner $300 R/up $75 Entry: $20 - $10 Buy Back
These number for payouts may not be back for 2012, so lets get the car count up, so we can keep it for this event!
Racers meeting......We will be having a Meeting at Sagebrush for all Racers Sat Oct 22nd, at Sagebrush in Mocksville. 6PM to Eat, 7pm Meet. We hope that all of you can attend!

Kathy, Look at our USE roll call for our attendance. Sorry but USE will not be attending the meeting. The guys decided they wanted to continue to do the cruise on Saturday night. If you guys have any questions for us, get with us Sunday morning.

Seen the Roll call for USE! Sounds like it is going to be a good turnout!
Let me know the time for the cruise and I will post it.
You guys are welcome to join us there when you are done, even if it is at the end of the meeting. We stayed in there for a good while last time and had some good discussions.

Farmington is a great event and I'm glad it gets magazine coverage. But I am curious as to how they pick some of the events that they cover and some of the one's they don't. I'm still puzzled about Dragnight, unquestionably the biggest VW event/party in the states and no coverage. Hot VWs will be in the house for the event! Make sure you have your VW shined up and ready for the Camera!

ATTENTION!
The Pit gate will be open from 7-11am Sunday morning for all you racers to enter. So please by-pass the main entrance and go to the other gate on pit side. This will ease up some the traffic of coming in the top gate and also trying to make the turn.
There is no track event for Sat, so if you wish to come park your trailer, you are welcome to. There will be camping at the track that evening, so will be plenty of folks there.
All registration for the race will take place at the SEVWA Red Trailer on the show side. Racers meeting will occur sometime around 11:30, so make sure you get there in time for that.
If yall have any questions, let us know.

Miller's Pizza Barn in Mocksville will be having an out door band on Saturday night if anyone wants to come out after the cruise ,and meeting at Sagebrush. Check them out on facebook.

Gavin, our coverage of Drag Night will appear in the January 2012 issue of Hot VWs. A couple of reasons why we were not there in person. 1. Air Fares from the West Coast were over $600! 2. Stephen from Holeshot was already going, and his photos are the best! So, it only made $$$ sense to just have him to the coverage for us. |

What a Beautiful weekend we had on Oct 22nd & 23rd! The event was a record breaker for the fall event with over some 1900 folks attending the event. 70 Racers, over 100 Show Cars and around 80 Vendors.
