I got word this morning that Barry Stewart of China Grove, NC passed away at a Motorcycle accident. His wife is in Critical condition at the moment.
Barry was a IVWA VW racer back in the 80's/90's.

Put his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

This is horrible news. I hate this for both familes. Ive known Barry for a long time and he has always been a stand up guy and one tough vw racer. You always had to be on your game to get around him.

I saw him race many times with the old IVWA at the Farm. May he and his wife rest in peace.

I remember Barry,

Car was called Bug Infested. It said "I wish I had a V8...Not" on the decklid. Nice guy, what a shame.

The car changed hands a few times and now is a silver turbo car. New owner is on clf.
