I went to the Test & Tune last night and improved .13 sec to an 11.30@118.2.

This is my old supercharged engine converted to All Motor duties. It is 4.03x3.25"(2715cc)

Car is 1783lbs and was turning 7380rpm thru the traps.
I launch around 5000 and only shift at 7800 because of the heavy rods and pistons.

Only change was reducing cam size 10 degrees@.050" to a Sacchetti grind,
from the previous Pauter B325.(roller)
The Pauter cam was a great power maker, and very stable in valvetrain,
but it was a bit too big for my driving style (pussy), and the 1.6 rockers I use.(1.4 exhaust)

Last season I ran a much smaller cam that was my favourite(265/270@.050"), and this one was about half way between the two.

Lots of room for improvement in both engine and driving,
but each run I try something new.
I have documented everything since converting to N/A 55 runs ago.

I checked the rod bearings this morning and they are all sweet
for the next event on next saturday the 31st of March.

These are my Pauter 5.85" 'blower' rods and the 3.25"(82.5mm) crankshaft that I made from a billet of 6" 4340.

The only change that I have made is to shorten the intake runner length by about 4" from where it was.

I am not sure how much this will change things,
but the computer program I have says this is better than the length I had.

I won the bracket last night with a double break-out.
Enjoy!
Best ET was this one at 11.400 backing off to 110mph.
Best speed was 117.99.
First two rouns I ran 11.431 and 11.443 on 11.43 dial-in!
