There will be a race at Martin Mich on May the 15th. Us 131 is one of the best tracks on the east side of the US and we need to support this race. Who will be atteneing it? Wayne

I know of a half dozen of the racers from the NCVWDRA that will be there and we want to take home all the money like we did in Pittsburgh last year...

Rumor has it that Gene Collier is going to be out making some shake down passes, if he gets the car all put together in time!

The GoodVolks club is working on putting together a reaction time competition for the Bug Runs.
Each year our club has a Good Volks drag day event. We participate in a test and tune at US131 and compete for best reaction time. We thought we would carry this to the Bug Runs and sponsor a reaction time competition. Details are still in the works. More to come!

Reaction time competition will be open to all passes of racers and those participating in the fun runs. The GoodVolks aircooled VW club will offer $100 (minimum) to the driver with the best reaction time of the day. This is open to all VW aircooled powered vehicles.

Here is the official info from the track: Sunday's 4th Annual Spring Bug Run has been rescheduled to Sunday, July 10. "The weather forecasted has gotten worse as the week as progressed," said Stephanie Peterson Marketing/Media Relations Director. Peterson continued, "We have participants traveling from other states and Canada for this event and we want to be mindful of that fact." http://us131msp.com/index.asp
