I'm looking in to getting some 90 10 style shocks. I have been told that these Qa1 Proma Star coil over shocks part number Qa1 dr4855b will bolt right up to a link pin front end with no mods, and they are also adjustible .  A little bird told me that these are the same ones that RLR are selling. I called RLR and he will only say that the ones he sells will boilt up with no mods to a link pin front end . I would just buy the ones from RLR but they are $425 a pair. I have a  parts store that will get them for me a a huge discount ! !  So are any ove you guys running these , and do they bolt right up ? Thank Jason

These are the ones I run...

The eyelet holes are 1/2", just a little bigger than the 12mm the VW uses. They are not 90/10, but don't need to be.

Sometimes we have to take a risk when choosing parts, even when they are made for a VW. I don't know if they are the same as Lummus is selling, but if you'd feel less risk buying from Lummus then by all means do so. I can tell you these shocks have worked well for me, and I do not regret buying them.

Mike can these shocks be used on a ball joint lower front end?  I looking for shocks for a 66 type 1 on all four corners.

Thanks

No. they are eye mount on both ends. Ball joints use an upper stud mount
