Hello,

I'am running a 6-puck disc with a spring center, but on engagement it trembles/shakes a bit before fully engaging. This is the first time I use a sinter metallic disk, so its all new to me. Is this slight shake before engaging somewhat 'normal' on spring centered 6-puck discs?
Would a solid center 6-puck not have this? or would a solid center be too harsh on engagement on the street?

I run drag and street/track

Thanks in advance for your experiences,
Walter

To help with the chatter issue, you should be running solid mounts.
All "puck" disks suffer from this to some degree. Some worse than others.
It seems like folks that run Pucks on the street take some time to learn how to finesse the clutch.

It took me quite a while to learn to drive my new Centerforce (dual friction) disk. It's real grabby too.

Sounds like some folks have a puck disc confused with a Black Magic. Never had syncro problems with the 4 puck and found the 6 puck version to even softer. You will get used to releasing it though they are a bit "grabby" on the street.Wayne
