Don't miss out on race three of the NCVWDRA's Bracket Eliminator class at Dragway 42 This Saturday.
It's along with thier big "Night of Thunder" race that will bring old Nostalgic T/F dragsters and such. Huge race for this track. And a chance to race your VW in front of a big croud.
I'm thrashing for the next 2 days to finish up my 2332 turbo rebuild.
The new Rimco prepped case is perfect and she's falling right together.
come Watch for the Fast VW's and the Fast V8's.....

Motor's all done and tested (A/F is good too).
Loaded up and ready to go. Starting with 14psi and working up slowly from there.

For those who weren't able to make it out, we got rained out. But the event has been reschedualed for Saturday Sept. 3rd to be part of Dragway 42's Huge Labor Day Weekend Event. We actually had a short afternoon rain delay as well. Tom had the freshened up engine in a mild state of tune, and with the track green from the rain, he "only" managed a 10.65 while laying tire at the 1000ft mark during qualifying. I'm sure once he gets some seat time to get the engine tweeked back up, and a track that hasn't been rained on, he should be back to knocking on the door for that 9 second slip.
