Spoke to Keith and Kathy from K & L Motorsports and the SEVWA today. They were throwing some ideas around about a new race in June at Dunn Benson. This would be a non points race and is all about the money to the racers. Possibly mid june.
He was thinking $5 gate entry to get into the track. And possibly having 2 classes only. Both classes would be a bracket class. One is on a sportsman bracket tree and the other would be on a pro tree. Both classes would have dial ins. The only difference would be the tree. Delay Boxes would be allowed in both classes however I don't think a delay box would be any advantage on the pro tree, I'd rather dump the clutch.
If your not familiar with Dunn Benson, NC it's literally about 2 miles off Interstate 95. It's one of the closest race tracks off I-95 that you can find. Information on the track is located below. This track is owned by a local Pro Mod Racer and has been renovated and from what i hear is TOP NOTCH.
