if i have a type 1 trans wath do i need to convert it to a medeola md-4 swing version Huh?? thnks

The Mendeola is 2 inches longer at both ends, you'll need some fabrication skills, good luck

I put one in my pan car. Get your mounts from Rancho. The biggest things are the axel tubes are a bit shorter and it does push your motor 2" to the rear.

thanks for the info , but what i mean was the ring & pinion thing and mainshaft gears etc
or if a type 1 trans parts can be used in a mendeola

If i am not mistaken the R&P is larger as far as the gears i dont know. Call Shawn Moore @ SRM Performance i am sure that he can help you 562-900-5688

The ring and pinion is definately larger. I think the rest of the gears can be used.

No big it dosen't weigh that much. I can carry it around and manage it ok. It's definately heavier than a type one box though.

The difference in weight is about 85lbs , but there is alot of extra material you can remove to reduce the weight by 10 lbs
