fresh motor! thanks to my friend and engine builder!(MAD MIKE!) Mike Martin is a straight up guy that stands behind his word! do to a combination of things i had problems with old motor. so i called Mike and asked him if he would build me another motor. he told me what did i want to do. so i said lets start fresh. i bought a new set of steeet eliminators with 44/37.5 because the other heads i had were to for the size motor i had. so  told me to get a 74mm crank and he would supply a c89 cam and push rods and i took it to him. he did alot of work to the heads and alot more. and this motor sounds like a monster!

Good luck with it and hope you get into super pro.

74 stroke? Awsome crank. Strong as hell. Rev that sucker to the moon.
I have a 78 stroke motor that I shift at 8,200rpm for best E.T.'s.  has seen over 9,000rpm in the burnout box before. (on accident). It
Didn't hurt a thing. Sounded awsome.

Mike's a good dude. Nice work too.

Way to go Thomas! A little more tuning and that thing will just need a set of wings to make it fly.

It pulls the hardest at 7200 rpm. I still half to tune it in. Going to put 42 vents in it and jet it. Its alittle rich. Thomas only left the line at 6k and shifted at 7k. He said it had more. The car was also spinning the tires. On the last run he said he let to much air out of the tires and bogged the motor.

Thomas just called for the the track. He put a set of 42 vents in my carbs and said he just ran a 7.58. Now he needs to find the right jetting and turn the timming up just alittle. A little tunning and that 74mm crank will make it in to the super pro class. Hes getting there. He only has 5 runs on this new combo. All of the guys that talked crap about me and said I drink to many beers, well they can all kiss my you know what. I will drink a couple more for them. You go Thomas. We will get there buddy. One step at a time.
