Just got an anonymous donor of $200 for the Pro Outlaw class!

Check out our ad in the lastest Hot VWs!

Street Shootout
Need some ideas on other prizes and such for the class.

Like fastest mph, N/A, Turbo
Slowest
perfect RT

Just something to give everyone a chance at something.

Any ideas?

Hopefully we can gather some more sponsors with cash or product as well for the extras in the shootouts as well as Pro Outlaw.
If interested, send me an email or PM.

We would like to thank each and every one of you that were able to come out and support this event! We had a good turnout and will be able to continue to do it for the future and hopefully make it one of the events to attend in its area. Date for 2011 is Sept 11th.
This was the largest turnout of racers we have had all year at our events! Show car turnout was good and the spectator count was way up from the past two years despite the weather that morning. Special thanks go out to all those folks that helped with promoting the event in any way possible, shows, shops, around town, etc. If it hadn’t been for the VW Community helping us out, we wouldn’t be going back. That is what it is all about!
RK from Hot VWs did a special write up in a past issue of the magazine and we certainly appreciate him taking the time to get it out to those that maybe don’t go on all the forums like the rest of us. Howard Creps and the Cooker’s V-Dub crew for putting up the money for the Street Shootout and also all the promotion you guys did on the show itself. Mark Morris did an outstanding job with getting the watercooled bunch out to play and talking on another forum about this event and helped out with all the local stuff as well. All the shops that took the time to hand out those flyers we sent out to everyone they encountered. The Fresh Air VW Club for going out of their local area and passing out at various shows to everyone they could give one too and for all the help they did day of show in getting the show area organized! The North Coast VW Drag Racing Association with getting it out to their racers and had a good turnout for the Bracket classes as well. Regina Mitchell that came all the way from Charlotte and had to put up with us all weekend to assist at the Registration table all day. We couldn’t have done it without all of you and each and every person that attended the event! Thank you AGAIN and we hope to see you on Sept 11, 2011. More information will be available for 2011 on the website soon.

If any of you have any questions or comments about the event or are interested in sponsoring it for 2011, please give us a call or email.

Sponsors 2010: Cooker’s V-Dubs, Lugtronic, Caste Systems Performance, Geno’s VW, Sendell VW, VWVortex, The Samba, MSE, SDobbins Photography, EuropeanPlates.com, Dino’s Sports Bar.

Results & Photos will be posted soon.

If you haven't met Wayne Goddard... well you just NEED TO... Super cool dude. Wayne it was a pleasure finally meeting you and speaking with you.

Wayne should receive an award for best appearing team i swear. Car was clean, golf cart painted to match, Wayne in a matching drivers suit, and even the wife was wearing a team suit. It looked really professional. Only thing Wayne was missing was nitro header flames. He looked like a PRO team out there.

And for an automatic car... i am super impressed. that car ran like fast and picked up the wheels.
