There is something I would like to make very clear about this race. Cookers V-dubs is the name on the sponsorship of the Cookers street shoot out class, but the money that has been put up for the pay out is not my money. The money was put up by Howard Creps. And no matter who wins this class in no way shape or form does the money comes back to me Bob Cook of Cookers. In other words if my brother Gene Cook would happen to win its not like we are keepin the money. I built Genes car but I do not own the car. Besides I am Cookers V-dubs and I dont even have a race car. Just wanted to make that clear cause I know people dont like when promoters win back there own money.

Cheesy thats right for any one that wants to know what bob said is true.mr Howard Creps is the money sponsor and the shirt sponsor. he has offered this because he likes me (lol) no really doesn't know me.he likes fast vw street cars and the cooks.as most already know bob builds one hell of a car....hmm cars??  anyway also wanted to see the pittsburgh event grow. as do we.so basically this is  being done for the vw community, to help it grow and survive.  also let every one know i also will not be racing here.(lol) as i have all ready been under that bus? thanks keith

You want to line up againist a "legal car" or just any car? Don't want to have to hear someone whine that the race wasn't fair.

You know my car, you know its not a "street car" Which is why I asked if you would line up againist any car, or want to limit your race? Seems you want to limit it. How about just line up whats next to you, race, then you can whine about whatever you want to.Weight, boost, hp,clutch slippage, driver skills?

You have issues with me, we'll go off forum and discuss it...sound good? I'll be waiting for a PM.

I didn't crash it, someones nose got bent out of shape, then comes back with "I was just goofin just to stir the pot" so it got stirred and now theres a problem? All I said was "I am sure there will be some discussion to soon follow on that statement", take it anyway you want.

Easy does it, drop it like I told you...

Back on topic, I hope this event gets the turnout that Keith and Kathy need to keep it going. Awesome that the SEVWA turns themselves into the NEVWA for one event. Haha

Ok, rather than "Take it any way you want" how about you just explain exactly what it meant, lol? I'm still confused.  Roll Eyes

And if anyone got bent out of shape, it was the guy that followed up with this statement, "Don't want to have to hear someone whine that the race wasn't fair." Carry on...

For some of us stupid internet banter is all we have to look forward to. Don't make us Virginia boys go to war with you Jersey yankees. History may be on your side but we " ain't skeerd" LOL. We'll make a Picaro pile with a slice of Joe in between. We can warm up at drag night.
