Yeah, but I know how you are about fuel lines, and I don't think I could have snaked 1" stainless through there... or afford to!

Na, I'll save that for JerseyJoe!  I hear that guy even armor-all's the valvestems...

... if the rest of the car takes as long as those fuel lines did, it will take longer than my Mar 27, 2010 completion date goal...

DUDE!  That is awesome!  Glad the project is coming along for you!

On a side note, I'm headed back to Dallas next week...  But unfortunately, I've got no time to play. Sad

I would have loved to see that project in person!

Keep up the bitchin' work!

Over the holiday weekend I was able to actually spend some time on my car, instead of working on other people's junk...

Here's a shot of the 2 stainless lines I fed up through the stock e-brake cable tubes for the nitrous and oil psi gauges:

Some work on the rear brake lines:

Getting starting on the rust repair...
Before:

After:

Before:

After:

Also had to replace the rear apron, and since an "H" Apron replacement isn't available, I had to modify a later model and use what was good on mine:

Still need to "fill" the exhaust cutouts, and then dzus on the apron, but I'm doing things a little different, so you'll just have to check back...

Here's a few updates:

Got both lower rear quarter's replaced; going to have to wait to see what needs to be done for a "tub" before they can get finished:

Getting the front apron & spare tire well finished-up this weekend:

Slowly-but-surely...

As promised, here are some updates:
The reason I haven’t been able to work on the car much this month:  http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/cadpro/House/

Got the dash filled back at the 1st of December.  Plan is to run a RacePak Dash, frenched-in of course!

Got the Wolfsburg West pan-halves installed.  These things ROCK!  Fit like a glove.  Removed the stock seat tracks since it will be getting some Kirkey seats w/ RLR mounts:

Installed the master cylinder, brake and clutch pedals and cruiser pedal

Did all of the brakelines

Brake & 2-step switch will go here

Staging brake plumped so it activates the fronts!

Gotta do a couple things around the house next weekend, so it will be a couple more weeks until I can touch the car again...

Yeah, I've got some updates to share, just haven't had the time to sit down and upload everything...

... maybe this weekend. I think we are supposed to have what seems like our 100th day over 100-degrees, so maybe it will be a good time to stay inside!

On your bulkhead layback, the gap at the top looks like 1/2 inch. How many degree's caster does that give you?

ok..ok..ok.. I know its been forever and a day since I posted some updates, so here goes.

These are from early spring, the last time I spent any real time on the car. Been too busy working on other people's junk rather than my own...

Replacing both heater channels, both front wheel wells, and the front firewall:

Obviously, there is still alot left to do body work wise, but my next major project is re-doing what I've already done with the rear suspesnsion. I am changing directions, in more ways than one! I am going to an 091 Bus box (Raised in the car via a RLR Bus Trans Raise Kit), AND switching to a customer IRS rear trailing arm and coil over setup, similar to what Mike Lawless did in The White Knuckle Ride. I am slowly gather parts, including my tires and wheels:

They are Champion Wheels, wrapped in MT 235 Drag Radials.

Well, until next time...
