Help with ET/HP estimates
«
on:
March 29, 2007, 06:52:07 am »
Just thinking about something and have some questions.
If a drag bug weighs 1300lbs with driver and it ran a 12.20 how much HP does it have? I'm guessing 150hp.
Also how much HP will it take to make it run high 10's. My guess is 240hp.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ET = ((Weight / HP)^.333) * 5.825
MPH = ((HP / Weight)^.333) * 234
HP = (Weight / ((ET/5.825)^3))
