the rain let up for  a few hrs today. I wanted to work on the race car, but it's 2mi down the road at the storage unit, and my trailer is in the swampy yard.

So, I just drove the car home. It was kind of fun to take a short trip in a hi c/r 2276 with open stinger. Slicks. Spool. Using hand signals.

Living dangerously...

that is always the best -- I took the oval down to the local show (about 2 miles each way) with no apron or deck lid just to show everything off -- Cheap thrills LOL

Who says you can't have an engine without a fanshroud in a street car?

Has Dragway 42 had any runs yet? It looks like the Memorial Day weekend may be the first time down the track for anyone at Quaker.
