Whatever happened to the bikini contest's that used to take place at some of the shows? I am just to old school and is it a thing of the past? Just asking?

No........Wayne(either one of you) it ain't happening!  I did win a Bikini Contest one time at Circle Yer Wagens show...............I think they just voted for me cause I was burnt to a crisp and they thought that If I won it would get all of them in VW Trends! LOL (I worked for them at the time) |

My (at the time, married 24 years next July...) soon-to-be wife was crowned "Ms. VW Classic 1988" The magazines have her last name the same as mine, she used it because we were going to be married in a few more weeks (July 4th). Yes I have the photos and the plaque she got, we used the $$ for flowers at the wedding, and NO I will NOT repeat NOT post the photos...she looks just the same now as she did back then, so, if you ever saw her with me@ a VW event, that's what she looked like in June of 1988. PS the swim suit was pink 8=) |
