I wanted to give a BIG thank you to the Old Dominion Raceway crew! Les pulled me aside before the race and made it clear that he had some serious discussions with the track officials for Old Dominion.

Whatever transpired in his conversation paid off! The track conditions at Old Dominion were top notch for what seems like has been an eternity! The track prep was spot on, lanes were shut down for anything questionable and cleaned up quickly!

I had not one person in the points series complain about track conditions! PLEASE keep up the good work! It IS appreciated!

They brought in this new guy from Summer Duck and i almost SHAT my pants in the first round of qualifying. They ran the street cars, then the pro cars, then they shut down racing and re-prepped the track. He was all over that track the entire day, sweeping it, blowing it off and i never really heard a complaint about the track.

Like any track on a 90 degree day it got a little greasy at the top end but nothing too crazy.
