Well peeps , I talked to the promoter and it does'nt look good for the Punchbuggy race this year.  I've pretty much been told that it's cancelled.  He left a slight chance open but I honestly don't think it will happen.  Some of you foresaw this happening.  The show could have survived but I'm not gonna come on here and point fingers.  I'm in talks with another great track to possibly run the MADRA points series.  I'll post as soon as I find out info.!

Thanks,
Jerry

YEAH!!!! ABOUT TIME!
Sad to hear we lost a VW event. But I am glad ATCO lost the event. The writing has been on the wall for years.

I know and work with a few v8 bracket racers, one who ran the 5.80 index last year a few times last year, and they all all say the staff there has gotten a handle on running the track since the first year they re-opened.

A revival of the old Bug-On events would be awesome, that was a fun show. Tough times for that to become a reality though. Sad

I hope you can find another venue Jerry-- it always sucks to lose a VW Race.  Hope to see you in Pittsburgh Sept 11 as well.

And its a 1/4 mile track too. And you could also bring your USE car and attempt to race the champ... Mean Gene. Hahahha
