Here are the verified dates on the 2011 PRA Schedule as of 1/17/2011 -

March 27, 2011 - Phoenix
May 29, 2011 - Sacramento #1
September 4, 2011 - Sacramento #2
October 9, 2011 - Fontana

The PRA is currently in discussions with two additional tracks and another promoter to possibly add 2-3 races to the 2011 season. We would ultimately like to have 6-7 events on the schedule and it is looking real promising so hopefully we can announce something real soon to give all the PRA members time to plan. Thanks for your patience.

The PRA is returning to Wittmann, Arizona for the first time since October of 1999 for the Arizona VW Nationals (PRA Championship Finals) at Speedworld Dragstrip at Speedworld Raceway on November 6, 2011, which will conclude the 2011 PRA season.  There will be the usual 1/4 mile PRA drag racing action along with non-PRA sportsman and bracket classes, car show, swap meet and a vendor row.  There is a test & tune session scheduled for the night prior (Saturday, November 5, 2011) with a VW only lane and overnight camping will be allowed.  For those unfamiliar with Speedworld Raceway you can visit their website at www.racespeedworld.com.  Additional event details and information will be released when it becomes available.

Current 2011 PRA Schedule
March 27 - Phoenix
May 29 - Sacramento #1
September 4 - Sacramento #2
October 9 - Fontana
November 6 - Arizona VW Nationals (PRA Championship Finals)

Thanks!

Anything in the works of getting a PRA/VW venue back to Sears Point/Infineon?
