OK peeps, get them cars ready! Our first Points Series race is this weekend at the BugOut! I'll be there early to get people signed up and ready for the points! We've got a few Pre-registered already!

Who's gonna be champ this year?  Bruce Ridgeway just won the SEVWA points race in Peidmont and I'm sure he's gonna be gunning for the number one MADRA Super Pro spot again. Will Frank Carbough (Old Skool Bug) be a two time Pro Class champ or will Chris Schaeffer pull it out this year in what was a very close points race last year? Will Virgil Prehn beat out his old buddy Nelson Rodriguez (2010 Sportsman Champ) for the number one spot this year?

OR will we have a new Champ for each class this year? Coming into the last points race of 2010 Pete Peek, Austin Johnson III and Woody Page were all in contention for Super Pro Champ and Bruce Ridgeway edged them out. 2011 is a new season and anything can happen!!!!!

It's gonna be an exciting series for 2011! Again (as always) a HUGE thanks to all of our sponsors for their support!

Please go to www.madra.webs.com for any info.

Thanks, yes, all is well, just have a new baby and I am trying to adjust financially.  Anyone in the world can relate to that I'm sure.   Yes, I'll be at the Grove, I have already gotten the hotel room booked and I bought tiny little earmuffs for the boy.

Bummer, I like racing Chris.  Not to mention Pro is a dying class.  My goal is to get down to 7.50-7.60 so I can be on the fast end of Pro, but not Super Pro.  Things keep going like they are and you will have the street cars, and the turbos!

Well, at the Grove last year there were 5.  Other than that, all I can say is usually significantly less than super pro and street.  Pro used to be where it's at.

All the former pro cars have evolved into super pro cars . The next generation is not happening due to hard times everywhere. Be thankful there are still many cars out there that can still compete. It doesn't matter what class your run your car in. As long as everyone has a good time.

I just want to clarify that I in no way dislike super pro cars.  I do enjoy the races no matter what it says on your quarter window.

OK, to clarify some things.. Pro Class count is up from last year! Our sportsman class is still lacking but once word gets out I'm sure more will come out of the garage!

The Points and Payouts have been updated! Remember the more the merrier. The car count goes up the payouts go up! Go to www.madra.webs.com for more info and some pics of Drivers and their cars (look under the members cars link).

For those who could not make it remember that the Maple Grove race on June 12 is a double points race!

BugOut 69 was another great one! Nelson Rodriguez Jr's. car made it to the final in Pro Class piloted by his Dad Nelson Sr.!

The Super Pro final was exciting to say the least, Bruce Ridgeway and David Grayson met up once again (as they have in the past) in this years Super Pro Final and put on another awesome show! Bruce was the first out the gate cutting a .005 light running a 6.919 @ 94.44mph on a 6.88 DI to David's .008 light running a 5.148 @ 134.85 on a 5.10 DI!

We'll see ya in a couple weeks!

He registered his son's car and ran it in Pro.  Just to clarify, he cleared this with me before he ran the car.  He plans on running his Super Pro car at Maple Grove but you never know with him, lol.
