Can a side shifter 091 be converted to be tail shifted ?
Or can a 3 rod vertigate set-up be used on it ?
Or should I just stay away from a side shifted 091 ?
Thanks for any help.

Side shift can be converted with the intermediate housing and nosecone frome a tailshift, although I don't know how hard these parts are to come by on their own.  There is a large demand for the 091 in offroad applications.

Correct, but only with the "side shift in the nosecone" 091's. If it's a "sideshift in the case", it cannot be converted.

Sorry - my reply was intended as more of a clarification than a correction, and to keep Vince from ending up with a really late model 091 that he couldn't use.
