Hey Newell, if you mean the brand new, Beige, '66 Bug I buried, the statute of limitations (I *THINK*) is long gone on that one..
I'm doin' good, buddy, miss you and Deano and Bruce and RK & Mike and Skip, and Gina.
I said after the interview that I was going Salmon fishing, I guess I shouldn't have said that, because I think I jinxed it, all I caught was a buzz from the Bloody Mary's and lost some tackle...The winds are coming up, so I'm hoping that will bring them a little closer in.
There were a lot of stories left untold, yeah, the almost getting shot because I used a semaphore is a good one, the going to Woodstock in a pristine Sealing Wax Red and Chestnut Brown 1960 23 window, breaking the crank in Missouri somewhere, and having to split up the "entertainment" we had on board, and abandon that Bus, that's another one that I could probably clean up enough for radio....
T-Boning that Buffalo front and center with my old '67 Deluxe hardtop was another one...That poor Bus was never the same after that.
Ya never know, Ray may want to have me back on again sometime, if he gets hard-up for guests... I'll do it, if he wants to.
Hiya Corny, if they want to scrape the bottom of the barrel, I think I have some stories about a few times in Ohio, one during a feature shoot of a really nice Black '67 with American 5 spoke wheels, after the Cental Ohio Vintage VW Club's Volksfest in Columbus, and I think that might be the same car that was named "The Cornpanzer Valdez" one fateful night in Dayton....
Any comments, Mr. Conklin? No, I didn't think so....

By the way, Dave, "Yhank" You..
