That photo of Deano was taken at a night that can only, in VW circles, be called "Magic"-- the night before the Bug In, there was a "Mixer" at the host hotel. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE, came out of the woodwork for this one, Joe Vittone, Darrell Vittone, Lee Leighton, Fumio Fukaya, Tom Leib, and SO many others, it was truly amazing. I would have sworn it would never happen, but I have a photo of Tom Leib, and Joe Vittone, shaking hands and smiling, from that night... Shocked

Good job, Deano, now I remembered why I enjoyed working with you so much...

I remember that night... I was there with my dad, and it was truly "A Night To Remember."  Even more amazing (to both myself as well as my Dad) was how many people remembered who I was from my last trip to SoCal three years prior (Classic 2002).  It was truly a great time.
