It was really awesome to hear this show, being from the Lafayette area myself.  I especially enjoyed Damon's mentioning Cliff Angelle as the person who got him started in racing.  Cliff is the person from whom I bought my Ghia, and as he tells it, Damon set up the carbs for him on my car.  Unfortunately the motor is kaput now, and the new one I put in has nowhere near the power the previous one did.  As a matter of fact, the new motor isn't doing very well at all.
