I'm looking for any parts, datas, pics of Maïco front break system which fit on K&L pin front beam.

Maico was a motorcross bike as in Maico/ breako!

I know that Maïco is a motorbike brand but they did a breaking system for 356 and Old bug (king & linkpin front beam) in the beginning of the 60's... I found some pics on the web but no referance about callipers or data sheet, dimensions...

I remember seeing them in a HVW Rarest of the Rare issues quite a few years ago. The ones pictured there looked pretty rough (and like death traps).

I have a completely restored set on the front of my Empi GTV.
Even the Inch Pincher had a set in the early years !

There was a company from Calif. back that made a same design disk brake system but I think it was for mini trucks at the them. They were at the old Score trade show days @ Anaheim Convention center....I might stoill have the onformation on them in my many file cabinets... Roll Eyes
