I am posting this for a friend. The car turned out to be more than he wanted. He has other projects he wants to work on now so this car has to go. It is very streetable and very fast. I don't know all the specifics about it, but if you email my with questions I can get them answered.

I talked more with my friend and got some more specs of the car.

The car has a complete Cromo cage installed by Performance VW complete with swing out door bars, Line lock, Msd ign. 2 step, Auto meter gauges, Berg Locking shifter

The motor is a 1776 with a Air Research T 03 and sidedraft carb. Berg Crank, 42X37.5 ported heads, Engle 125 cam, Solid shaft rockers, CE straight cut gears, 1700# kenedy, and Black Magic disk.

The trans was built by Steve Beacher with all the goodies to make it strong. 3.88 R&P, Super Beetle main shaft, Cromo shift forks, Gusseted Case, Super Dif, Diamond Axles, Berg mid mount, Kafer Cup Bar.

The front beam is narrowed and has disc brakes. The rear brakes are T-III. All drums and rotors were drilled porsche patern. The wheels are 6" Porsche Fuchs.

Now its down to $9,500.
He will take 6,500 less motor.
