Hey guys.  I'm trying to get myself back into VW's, and am considering trading my hot rod for something.  I used to post here a long time ago, but it looks like things have changed, and I wasnt registered any more.  Thats fine though.  Looking for vw or a 356.  The car in question is a 1928 dodge brothers sedan.  this car used to be a coupe, but i did a lot, and i mean a lot, of metal work to get it to where it is now.  engine is a 364 from a 59 buick, trans is a th400, rear is 8" ford, front is 39 ford.  needs a few things to be finished, but i drive it every day in the summer.  needs door seals, door windows, small stuff like that.  very fun car, and pretty fast too!  and no, i didnt steal those front wheels from a vw Smiley

I drove it 150 miles on the highway at 75-80. It still has the stock fourth, so you can cruz on highway.
Has good lowend. It makes lots of noise, so I woud'twant to drive it everyday, unless some sound deading was added.

I was born in Cheyenne.  But I live in Georgia now. How much do you think your car is worth?

Those cars would look great side-by-side, they are so much alike it's almost scary!
