Dual mufflers only for non-merged Berg extractor (GB 903DP)

New price is $ 50.00 (shipping not included)

The mufflers have been painted using Eastwood's brush on high temp satin black paint.

Chrome tips are in excellent condition

From the Berg catalog, the shipping weight of the header is 20 lbs. and the dual mufflers is 23 lbs.

I am hoping to sell locally to avoid the extensive boxing and freight, but will ship UPS if required.

Muffler support straps (hoop type) are not included, but the three-flange collector gasket and (3) bolts/nuts are included.  I do PayPal or cash.  Use the e-mail button near my name.

Picture of the system installed on my '71 (car sale pending)

Anyone interested?  The Jet-Hot coating on the header cost me more than this.

Ok - maybe I should mention the header and mufflers were purchased and stored in my basement before the header was coated a few years later.

The sound from those dual muffs is great.  When I first fired the engine, I had a box fan blowing air out my parents' garage and the fumes from the header coating set off their smoke alarm in the garage.  I shrugged my shoulders that night and told them I was sorry but had to keep the revs up for the first 20 minutes of a fresh motor.

I wasn't going to ruin all my $$$ Berg parts!

Learning curve was steep with my Bugs. From a rusty '66 with Thunderbird glass pack header to Berg-equipped goodness.

I would prefer to sell both pieces together but will split them up if required.

Header only: $ 70.00  (shipping extra)
Dual mufflers only: $ 45.00 (shipping extra)

These prices are almost like giving the parts away.

Here is a picture from May 1998 showing the raw, uncoated mufflers temporarily installed on the engine when I first got it running.

I guess anything is possible!   The freight will most likely greatly exceed the value of the mufflers.

I would think you might be able to source (new) Berg exhaust components from Bernard Newberry in the UK.
