So I am wireing my car up and notice that some wires have shrank abit i s this normal?  car has been apart for like 15 years I would not be surprised if that was the case .  do wires shrink?

The copper..... No.  The insulation, maybe.

Unless, of course, the wire got really really cold.

Actually, I was going to mention something along the lines of other shrinkage, but couldn't put a punchline together. Grin

Seriously, though, I've never heard of that happening, unless somehow the insulation has gotten loose with age, maybe due to low-quality plastic... not sure, though.
