Is there a way to fix scuffed wide white wall tires?
Seems my customer had to drive a very short distance on a wide white and scuffed a inch ring of the upper edge and I would like to fix it if at all possible.

If it were my car (and this may not be the best or safest way) I'd mount the scuffed tire on the rear of the car. Jack the back end up, start the engine and let it run in gear. While it's spinning, I would hold a piece of sand paper on the scuffed part. That's just me, and I don't recommend unsafe procedures to anyone.

A duel orbital sander and 320 grit paper did the trick, thanks for the tip but I couldn't get the wheels spinning the same 10,000 rpm on this very stock 66 with 1300  Grin  I will post pictures soon.
