R.L. Osbourne, Mike Buff, Ceppie Mayes, Dizz Hicks, Mike Domiguez. Where are they now? Some of the original EXTREME BMXers.

Jason Donnel, Chicken George Seevers, Pistol Pete, and a bunch of other guys.
Pistol Pete Loncharavich...lol...we actually sponsored him when he was racing downhill for Vans/Ironhorse...we supplied and painted a few helmets for him...did you know that he also does bareknuckle ultimate fighting...lol. Super cool guy!!! He also has a martial arts studio in his garage and teaches out of his house.

I actually still have my BOSS bad boy frame from way back when I used to race in the early 90's at Agnew. Just recently sold my Ellsworth truth cross country bike.

I still ride a BMX, and am 32 years old. I don't race or anything, but go to the store, roll with my kids, ride with my homies, all over Minneapolis. I was from a poorer rural comunity, and had used bikes till I was 6, my Dad took me out and bought me a Huffy Pro Thunder 3, I was the first kid on the block with a "real" BMX-lol The older kids, that were cooler than me had some of those bananna seat pre-bmx styled "dirt bikes" they were calling them. When I was 15 I got an abused GT freestyle bike, and repainted and restickered it. It was my first resto job. Grown up I was jonesin for a true classic BMX I bought an early Mongoose from a trader paper, it turned out to be stolen, so I went out and bought a new Haro, it has a streched frame, so I don't even need a laid back seat post, and can run the bars vertical, with no risk of knee banging, even at 6'2" ! ! Why didn't they make one like this when i was a kid? It is about 7 years old now, and I still woudn't replace it, it fits too well.

Seen this thread before never really looked at it, When Tom showed the old Yamaha bike I got excited because back in 75 my dad was into motorcycles I was 8 at the time christmas came around I really wanted a new bike well I came out to a brand new bike a yamaha bike just like the one Tom showed but mine had a reagular seat . I was in heaven it was too snowy to go out side and ride so we took the bikes down stairs - my brother got a big wheel. We rode down there so much that nite and next day that we left a rubber track in an oval on the concrete. Great memories. Get this I raced the bike in motocross also what a tank but I would still win with it. We would have jumping contest reagularly and I did real well there too. Everyone thought that the suspension made the differance it didn't it was heavy when I got a solid frame bike I jumped furthar racked lots of injurys never went to the hospital only the dentist to replace teeth once. Got into the skate park thing untill they were all tore down alot of people were getting really hurt. This is a great thread. I'll try to see if i have any old pics. Tim

Looks like i caught this chat a bit late!
I had a Racing Inc, then a JMC mini one of only two in the NW at time that thing was so light , then switch to Mongoose and finished riding on with Titan and ELF
Parents finally got tired of getting speeding tickets trying to get to all the races... So I decided to just play hoops
