I have a friend whos husband recently pasted away. She would really like to sell her boat. I want to help as best I can but I am not sure where to start.

I plan on putting it up for sale on Craigslist etc. but I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a site similar to cal-look.com or the samab for these types of boats.

Thank you for all your help and input.

Best,
Evan

Craigs list is probably your best bet.  However I bought my SeaRay off a guy who had it on www.BoatTraderonline.com    What year SeaRay anyway?

Thanks Marty I apreciate it. I guess the only thing would be if you had any ideas on how to get some more exposure for the boat.

if it is a good quality boat just advertise in your local paper or in local boating papers. i do recommend one thing it is a good idea to have the boat in the water or atleast ready for water. most people want to see it float and run before purchase. i would not take anyone for a ride unless they are really serious and give you a deposit first. gas prices and insurance rates are really high these days and you don't want to take out joyriders. also do not be surpirsed if the buyer gets it surveyed before purchase. and yes that is normal and they should have to pay for that and any hauling fees for this. just somethings to look out for that's all.

Is it a fishing boat?  I can link it to a few of my fishing clubs in the SF bay area
