This is sort of in line with my post about "Noah", and helping those who are less fortunate if you can.

The Salvation Army Angel Tree program provides Christmas gifts to people in need around the US. Givers can select an angel tag from a tree at an area mall. Each tag provides the name, age, gender, clothing sizes and special needs and wishes of a needy child, senior or disabled adult.

Angels can be adopted at many local malls or online at JCPenney - http://angel.jcpenney.com

Here in the Dallas/Fort Worth, more than 57,000 angels were placed on trees around the area. With less than a week remaining in the program, there are ~8,500 remaining angels. I understand that the situation in other parts of the country is similar Undecided

The last angel will be adopted on Dec. 13 and all gifts must be returned to the Salvation Army by Dec. 14 to allow adequate time to be dispersed to the families.

If this is something that you guys and gals can do in your community, it's sure to be much appreciated!
