Anyone from the Reno area?  I will be out there May 30 - June 2 staying at the Hilton.  If the 500 wasn't this weekend I would come out early and head to SAC!

I found one bug shop up on the North East end right next to the In & Out.  Anyone know anyone there?  I figured I might pop in there if I have extra time and say hi.

Pfer10, there is one bug shop (Fibercraft) just down the street from the Hilton on Glendale. I don't get off work until 4:30 but I can stop by and say hi. You can reach me at steveo@renoae.com

The Hilton sits betwen Mill street and Glendale Ave. Both streets are parallel and run east /west. Fibercraft is the only vw parts store in town and is to the west of the Hilton by about a block on glendale. Bill is the owner. Their shop has been around about 25 or so years and is fairly well stocked. It is aimed at VW street stuff and a lot of off road VW.The shop you saw by in and out is Scudders performance. Clayton Scudder does repair work on VW's and has been a drag racer in the past with a car called Bad Karma. If you stay on Glendale and go east about 5 miles across McCarran you'll be at Summit racing. The store is pretty large and is both retail and mail order so it's stocked to the max.
