If you're staying in Upland, you're only about 15 minutes away from the NHRA museum at Fairplex in Pomona. Take the 10 East and get off at Fairplex and go right.

We stop into the Newport pier as well as the Balboa area take a ride on the ferry.   Like Gary said you are around the corner from Pomona,  Not sure if any one is headed out to Irwindale on Thursday night.

Enjoy the visit.

Thanks for all the info i will use it on my next trip.  We stayed with some freinds that just moved down from Nor cal . They are still selling there old house and have the computer up there .   I was iching to find a computer to check in . I kept my eye,s out for VWs i did,nt see to many .We stayed from wednesday to sunday they i beleive they lived off of Baseline close to a small airport.  The wedding was Thursday night so my Irwindale plans were foiled .   It was a good time down there it went by way to fast .   We sat around there pool drinking a good part of the time. Next time i want to check some of these places out.  One thing we also did was go to a new big shopping center in Rancho Cucomunga and looked around and ended up haveing luch at Lucile,s  southern bbq. That place had some good food . Thanks
