My wife and my mother-in-law are both from Macon County, Atlanta, GA and all I know is that my mother-in-law can make a meal out of anything and what's not fried is mixed with mayonaise and served as a salad.  As for my wife, she was moved to Florida shortly after birth and never learned to cook, just to lay out in the sun.  Food's overrated, I prefer a tan body!
