To quote Hank Hill "European weenie sport"
Nice!  The funny thing is, its popular everywhere but in the US.  I am not saying there aren't fans in the US, just not as many as abroad.  I guess I didn't get the "soccer gene"...  Grin

Just to try and get you "yanks" involved here's an interactive wallchart (xls) that you can fill out as you get the results.

That's exactlly right. Soccer is the number one sport in just about every country in the world. But, for some reason we here in the US could care less about it. I don't know why that is cosidering we have people here from all over the world. I guess American football has taken its place.

I think its cause you guys are too busy playing sports that only you play? And then name your tournaments like they are "world" tournaments? Like baseball and american football? Oddly enough though, the USA is ranked 5th in the world according to the FIFA world rankings!

Your first game is tomorrow against the czech republic!

Very true, Tom.
Imagine what the World Series (baseball) would be like if it were truly "world".  Shocked  It sort of is, based on players, but not as countries.
