When I was in Ypsilanti, MI on Monday before "WE" (Steve Holllingsworth/Deena Reese, Robert/Rhonda Knerr, Dee/Doug Berg, and myself), we all had a goodbye breakfast before we all departed on our own ways home.
Dee got a call from Clyde and Dee rushed over to a grocery store nearby, when Dee returned to the Bakers Square she pulled out a stack of US weekly tabloid magazines (May 29th issue).  Dee mentions to turn to page 40, and there was a shot of Jesse James and Sandra Bullock with Jesse wearing a Gene Berg shirt.

Go to your local newstands and check it out!!!

I think he had a Gene Berg shirt on during the episode of Monster Garage where he built the drag bug.

Yes..that was for the show and also Jesse showed up at the DKP Cruise nite wearing a Gene Berg shirt, but that's beside the point.   What I posted above was a "papparazzi" (sp?) photo shot of Jesse with Sandra Bullock together somewhere in public without any VWs around.
