I went to a local Porsche show on the weekend, and instantly fell in love with car below, a 1957 356 Carrera. I don't know if it was the real thing - it had a pushrod motor - but if it's not they did a nice job recreating one (minus the 4 cam engine).

I very cool hotrod. 356 C disc brakes, wheels and shifter. Great, period mods.

I was told that it was originally built for Jerry Seinfeld for a "fun around town" car, but that he no longer owns it. I'm in love.

Yeah, but at least they are period-correct.

Photos do not do the car justice - it was the hit of the show, with people looking past brand new 911 GT2s, etc.
