I don't know squat about these things except that they will hold hundreds of songs.  I don't even own one, and not sure what to look for yet.  Anyways, there is a jazz show on the radio that I miss sometimes, and I got to wondering if an Ipod can be used to record directly off the radio?  I thought I could rig it up with a timer to turn the Ipod and radio on and off.  Any of you savvy electronics wizards have any ideas or suggestions?

He's right. IPODS do not record, but if the show has a podcast then you can download it from iTUNES.

As far as I know, they don't have a podcast, although they do stream live over the internet.  There's probably another way to go about it, maybe somehow have it downloaded or something...
