       First of all, I never brought up homosexuals in the military. I only responded to it.
        Secondly, I do not have any gay friends. And I do not go looking to pick fights with them.
       However, I can tell you it's a total abomination to God. And I don't make the rules!

"what is right" is subjective and based purely on your personal beliefs... so yes, in essence, anyone that stands up for their individual beliefs are a minority of one... there is *nothing* wrong with stating your opinion, nor with feeling the way you do, the problem comes in when you are intollerant of others not agreeing with you...

If you wish to have your own opinion, you must respect other's right to have an opinion, whether you respect the actual opinion or not...

     Would I let my children get exposed to it and think it's normal? No? And it has been explained to them.
     Oh, and my sister had numerous boyfriends before her gay lifestyle change. She met up with another girl, got heavy into drugs and now she prefers to be gay. So was she born gay? I hardly think so.........

Look, bro (I have no idea what you're real name is, otherwise I would use it), I don't have a problem with you.  I disagree with a lot of what you say here, or at the very least the manner in which you say it.  Even still, its not fair for you to lambast everyone else that doesn't agree with you 100 percent.
I consider myself to be a middle of the road guy.  I'm largely conservative on a lot of issues, including fiscal related topics, and some things (like gays in the military, etc.) not so much.  People are people, and what my initial post way back earlier in this thread chiefly responded to is generalizations about people.
Do I like the job Obama is doing? No.  I certainly hope we get somebody more capable down the road in the next election.  But I maintain it is completely ironic how conservatives are now engaging in the same type of mudslinging and disrespect to the current president that they objected to by liberals against George W. Bush.  Irregardless of whether we agree or disagree with the job the current leadership is doing, the position still warrants respect.
I'm not gay, but don't have a problem with others who are.  Christians (which I consider myself one, not a perfect one, by any means) can rant and rail about how perverse it is and wrong it is, according to the Bible, but let's face it, none of us are in a position to judge; only the man upstairs.
I won't say much else about the issue, because several others above me already have said enough.

     It's a difficult issue with my parents. As they are Jewish Christians. They accept their daughter and love her of course. My sister has consistently shown up late for family functions and many times not at all. FOR HER OWN BIRTHDAY!!! without a "I am not showing up phone call"! So we have had her birthday parties many times without her. She owes my mother thousands of dollars and NEVER bothered to even attempt to pay her back.
      Because she is so self centered and busy in her gay lifestyle, everyone else is put on the back burner!
      Then instead of apologizing, there's excuses why she could not show up. IT'S ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT. NOT HER'S!!!!
      So there you have it. My sister will probably never give my parents grandchildren, and they absolutely love my daughter, and would love more!
       I have read the gay monthly or whatever it was magazine that my sister gets. They mock Christ, and switch things around for their own benefit.
       When it clearly states in the bible if you engage in the lifestyle you will walk around confused!
       I have overheard my sister talking when she thought no one was around. They are literally chained into that lifestyle and do not realize it! They are hooked on it or in it.
       Glenn, PLEASE do not generalize/compare blacks with the gay rights problems of today. There is no comparison.  And furthermore I do not feel they would appreciate that at all.
   And if there is please show me where and why. I feel that's really putting black people down!
        Black people just wanted a fair shake to succeed and be allowed to participate like everyone else.
