On driving the wifes Element the other day I noticed the clutch engaged at the floor....after stalling the car, I asked....what happened to your clutch (she drives it everyday not me) with a reply, It was like that this morning. My question is, I know when the clutch begens to wear it has more travel in engage not less....it feels like it's got half the pedal free play? Any ideas? 04 Honda Element

yes a tad low 1/4" maybe, so filled it and decided to bleed system, well there was air in there, the level wasn't low enough one would think? or do you think the slave might be on it's way out? Well if anything else I changed out all fluid, it was very dark.... works great now

Pull the boot back on the slave cyl and see if its wet. Also check under the dash at the clutch pedal to see if the master cyl is leaking. I have replaced a few on civics and accords.
